Destination Wedding at the New York Athletic Club
We love having the chance to get outside of Boston and celebrate weddings in beautiful locations all across the country! This destination wedding at the New York Athletic Club took us to the bustling streets of New York City, to celebrate the union of NYC-local couple Maria and Greg.
Believe it or not, we’ve met Maria and Greg before! We were lucky enough to photograph Greg’s sister Juliette’s wedding to her husband Noah at the Ritz Carlton, Boston on New Years Eve 2014/15. We were thrilled to be back with this couple to celebrate their own wedding, which took place at the gorgeous New York Athletic Club overlooking Manhattan’s Central Park.
Amanda + Josh ~ Cedarhurst, New York Wedding ~ Temple Beth El
Amanda and Josh have been together for over 10 years and tied the knot on Sunday at Temple Beth El in Cedarhurst. It wasn’t the sunny day they had hoped for, but the love and energy between these two made their day just perfect! Everything from prep to the reception was at the Temple which made it so convenient for them and their families! We go there early to shoot details like we always do. This entryway was the perfect spot to photograph Amanda’s dress. I love this chandelier!

Giorgio’s, Baiting Hollow – Emma & Eric
I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer living on the East End of Long Island! I’m a HUGE lover of natural light, so much so, that I slapped the title of “sun chaser” on my business cards. In 2011 I shot my first wedding, with not a clue what this industry was all about- or even weddings in general for that matter! That first couple who took a chance on me and my art completely changed my life. So my love story with how I got started in wedding photography? It really just found me.
I learned that what fueled and inspired me as an artist was capturing the magic that exists when two people are in love. So here I am, filling my days with a whole lot of that.
Real Wedding: Elena and John
Designing the paper elements for Elena and John’s dream wedding was an absolute joy. Their style was classic and elegant with a hint of Gatsby inspired, art deco flair. In our first appointment, Elena’s sketch of a ribbon and wax seal evolved into a beautiful foil and letterpress invitation. Once they were designed and printed, we carefully wrapped each one with a ribbon and added a shimmery wax seal. We’re still so in love with the finished suite.
Once the invitations were in the mail, we created monogrammed wedding programs and champagne flute escort cards. Festive gold menus sat at each place setting to compliment the beautiful table numbers that Elena stitched by hand.
